[after an initial freakout upon the change in environment at midnight, Riza had taken to exploring the castle and later the town. This was somewhat difficult due to her clothes morphing into something more appropriate for the times (albeit still baring her abs for some unknown reason), which explains her now disheveled appearance.
The journal records a gagging noise that probably wasn't intended to be overheard, amongst the bustling sounds of the town waking up]
Not the Kingdom, but the smells are similar.
[by which she means "Midland smells absolutely disgusting," because NO ONE in medieval times takes a bath. NO ONE!
...although she isn't exactly fragrant either, after a super-early morning of adventure ;;;]
