✖ 03 ~ redux

[ anyone currently on the roof on the fourth day will notice aang's arrows glowing for a longer period of time than normal, before they suddenly stop and his eyes open. feeling uneasy and weak, he leans over and clutches at his head ]

Ngh...

[ is that...a coin jar? huh? ]

[ ooc; Assuming Katara would have been cleaning up any hijinks left behind, like hats or drawing on his face, but yeah. He's awake now! ]

Welcome back, Aang. How are you feeling?

[identity profile] cricketycricket.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, I'm afraid so. [a pause, and then]

I know your friends from home have been watching out for you, but ... if you need a place to rest, I've the Zero Room, here in my TARDIS. It's a special room built to keep out negative energies and help relax the mind. If you're weary ... you're welcome to it.

It's a ship, of sorts. I've parked it in my room.

[identity profile] cricketycricket.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
Not quite. It's ... do you have airships, in your world? It would be slightly more comparable to that, I suppose.

[identity profile] cricketycricket.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
There's a very special trick to it - it's bigger on the inside than on the outside, like the castle. Keeping it in my room helps me know it's safe, and not being tampered with.

[identity profile] cricketycricket.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
Inside of it, yes. I traveled all sorts of places with it, before I came here ... and that room's come in quite handy.

[identity profile] cricketycricket.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
You're more than welcome. I'll set up a cot for you, shall I?

[identity profile] adaptivity.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
Excuse me, I don't mean to intrude, but who are you?

[identity profile] cricketycricket.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
Oh! I'm sorry! I didn't realize we had auditory company, as it were. I'm the Doctor. You must be one of Aang's friends...?

[identity profile] cricketycricket.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. I've another incarnation of myself, here, as well ... somewhat like how Aang reincarnates as the Avatar, only a little different. He calls me Lakare, to keep us from confusing one another. If you prefer, you can call me that.

[identity profile] cricketycricket.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
[laughs, softly] It's simply "Doctor" in another language. But of course you may.

[identity profile] adaptivity.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 03:41 am (UTC)(link)
I think I understand. [Pause] Is Doctor your name or simply a title?

[identity profile] cricketycricket.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 03:43 am (UTC)(link)
Both, I suppose. I haven't used my given name in centuries. And what should I call you?

[identity profile] adaptivity.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose I should just call you Doctor.

I'm Katara.
