[Someone hadn't quite gotten used to the fact that she'd found herself (again, apprently) in a magic kidnapping castle yet, so to wake up and find the magic kidnapping castle had turned her not-purple was another unwelcome shock in a series of unwelcome shocks.]

[Dictated, sounds of her sharpening her katana. She hasn't discovered her Loss yet, otherwise she'd know her current actions were pretty much useless]

You know, things keep changin' like this and I'm gonna end up with whiplash. Does this place do this sort of thing often?

These things tend to last about a week, give or take, and then it'll return to business as usual.

[A sigh of resignation] A week don't sound too bad, I guess. Although I don't know about this whole medieval theme, seems a little old fashion.

Oh, armor I'm used to; I'm just not sure about the whole mood lighting, among other things.

Well that sounds ominous. What's so unfortunate, the frequency or the setting?

A little of both, although these events do seem to be happening a little more often than they had been before.

How is it I'm not really comforted by that thought?

You shouldn't be. I don't think the castle's intentions have ever been in our favor.

... Still, it might not be all that bad. It's just a matter of time before whatever happens happens, and there's nothing we can really do to prepare. We'd might as well make the most of it.

This is the second time I've seen this happen... so often enough, yeah. [she doesn't sound too put out, though. She's eager to get out and start exploring the new town]

You know, you're the first person who doesn't sound completely upset by these new circumstances. You know something they don't, [then, teasingly in good humor] or are you blissfully unaware?

[a laugh] Neither. But this place has done this before... changing into something else... and it's kind of exciting. We're actually in a medieval world, or the closest equivalent that Paradisa can make up, I guess. Might as well enjoy what we can.

You make a good point, Shugah. No use in whinin' if we can't change it and it ain't hurtin' us.
