[The journal knocks open when one particularly sharp kick knocks the punching bag into the stool she'd been letting it rest on. A lot of different things have been eating at her lately, and the castle's the number one offender. Keeping her here for a year? Coma spelling her for one of the things she's actually good at? Sending someone back to what sounds like a shitty future? Doesn't fly. And the poor punching bag is taking the brunt of her anger, because taking it out on a castle that just repairs itself is only going to anger her more.
Sadly, the punching bag can't withstand the abuse, it's only a more moments before a particularly frustrated punch has the chain attaching it to the ceiling snapping, and the bag splitting open before it hits the ground. It ends up drawing her attention to the fallen journal and with a sigh, decides to make the filters she's been putting off now that she feels a bit more calm. Someone else can clean up this mess]
Tell me you aren't busy tonight, and can get someone to watch Caritas, if you have to?
I think...We totally need to touch base and figure out who's still here, and where...We're at. I'm staying in the city with a friend of mine, which totally limits my door checking opportunities and where you should try and find me, if you can't get the journal. That or Caritas.
[Responding is mandatory, she will hunt you down if you don't]
[[ooc: open if your character would be in the gym~]]

This filter.
I'm here. I've just been ... busy.
[Mannequin-sitting and strong arming his friends into taking shifts every now and then--you know how that goes. But that reminds him, anyone who missed the news might start to wonder why Cordy isn't sounding off to this type of roll call]
Cordelia's still around too, by the way. I thought losses didn't usually last longer than two weeks at a time.
Forever!
That's...Informative. Something you need help with?
[Brain wracking is a go] Usually? But I don't think it's mandatory. Like how the world swap things are supposed to be a week, but sometimes go over? I've...Never actually had one.

[Sigh goes here. He's ready for this particular loss to end like yesterday]
How are you doing?

I've...Definitely had better months. [A pause] What about you? Aside from 'busy'.

Good to know. I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised given everything else that goes on around here.
Lorne, Fred, and Wes have all stopped by to help out. I'm still waiting on Harmony to commit to a shift. You're welcome to stop by if you're hard pressed for some way to pass the time. I've got ... sappy romantic comedies, and Fred left a few fashion magazines.
[Not the most appealing offer, he realizes. Hey, he's just putting it out there]

And those rooms that only exist or change depending on the day of the week? Not exactly somewhere I want to be living.
[There's a pause, and she totally used to do things like that with her mom when she had a hard day. So, in light of recent events, she's honestly had worse offers. Get ready for the variety of action romances, Cordy] I can bring some movies too, and read her trashy socialite autobiographies.

I bet she'd like that.
[It's just an added bonus that, while still awkward, he's at least able to talk with you again without one party taking off]
Feel free to drop by whenever.

Good. Can she communicate at all? Like with blinking?
[She has to agree it's nice, even if a bit of time off from finding out all the nitty gritty details of their relationship was necessary. She will definitely be poking him over the journal more often til it feels less awkward for them both]
I've got tomorrow off, so I can come by in the afternoon?
