[ It's been awhile, Buffy has had her time to reflect, brood, and manage... something she'd never really had time to do. And yet, that's all she had now, was time in this apparently perfect castle that took people and things from them. Yeah, it was still a little hard to swallow for her.

Other than going to the kitchen and exploring the castle, this was the first time Buffy was actually making her way outside, heading toward the city. She had her journal opened in her hands, speaking to it. ]

You'd think after being here for a week and then some, a person would realize that this place isn't some kind of dream. [ A small pause. ] Everyday I wake up I still find myself wondering why I'm not in Sunnydale, or I guess in this case--

[ Another pause, and you can hear the sound of footsteps as she walks for awhile, then speaks up. ]

So, talking to a book. Does that feeling of ridiculousness ever go away?
