[the voice dictating over the journal sounds like it just woke up. It's possible she did. She sleeps all day to patrol all night. Still, it'll get more awake and alert as she shuffles around.]

I just had the craziest dream. I mean, not even waking up in this castle thinking it's a dream can compare to this dream.

There was a river of pudding. That was alive.

Not even hot lava river. Pudding river. That rice stuff with the gross maggoty looking blobs.

[shuffle with the journal to go brush her teeth. she'll talk with a mouth of foam]

Anfhyway... I gog wahgging down guh bwig... [SPIT! RINSE!] The bridge and then the blobs of rice started to turn into maggots. Then the pudding stuff parted and it was just a river of putrid remains and gurgling sounds from all their dead mouths.

All... "Gllaaarrgh..."

[she moves from the bathroom to the front room where she's going to start getting dressed. She's not patrolling tonight, though. She's going to go play outside.]

Then they just got really quiet. Creepy quiet. The bridge started to dissolve, like sand... and I tried to cling to the rope but it was slimey and I couldn't hold on.

Then I woke up.

I think I need therapy.

I'm also never eating that rice pudding or oatmeal or anything gooey and lumpy - ever again.

[he's a little startled that someone who sounds so young is swearing like that, but - well - uh. different worlds? maybe she's not as young as she sounds? eternally giving people the benefit of the doubt is kind of his general M.O]

Oh, good. ... It's surprising how many people here can't grasp the concept of multi-dimensional overlap. I know one woman who still won't admit to the existence of ghosts. Here!

They're just pretty much one classification, too! Back home we had all different kinds.

I dunno, I've been taking readings on a pretty regular basis since I got here, and they all seem like the same classification to me, so far.

Maybe if I tried a different etheric spectrum ...
