Well, Christmas didn't pass quite the way I expected it would. I mean, who could be prepared for a trip to Paris? Or a job as head of security at a museum.

[River seems to have practically lit up at the sight of the Pillar Fields. There was a certain glow about her that he probably hadn't seen since their hurried wedding. She was vibrant and more importantly, she was happy]

[The look on River's face? Savor it. It's a mixture of pure shock and love. The Doctor just....proposed to her. The best part of all? She didn't have to kill him this time around]

Doctor I -

[Oh look what he's done now. There are tears in River Song's eyes, happy tears mind you]

You silly man, how could I ever say no?

[She hadn't dared dream he would actually do this. He couldn't even fathom what it meant to her. A proper wedding this time around.

She holds out her hand for him to slip the ring on]
