Hello, citizens of Paradise!

[ Lucrezia has figured out how to use the journals for recording her own voice, much amused by the magical writing. ]

I have little knowledge of new inventions--yet I am curious about the inner workings of this instrument, the one through which I am speaking to you. It seems close enough to a miracle yet it is a human invention, is it not? Much like the pipes and the cars?

I would dissect it myself if I am sure I can remember where all the pieces fit.

[ There is a lady in flowing renaissance garb wandering down your hallways, Paradisa.

Lucrezia is peeking through doors left ajar and knocking on closed ones. She has stowed her device in her coat pocket and it turns on to catch her muttering timidly through the open doors. ]

Pardon me, I have been searching for the--master of this house. Only to thank him for his hospitality, of course, but I could not seem to find him. Perhaps you could help me?

About the Archive

"Paradisa Lost" is the archive of what the journals contained between December 1st, 2006 and January 10th, 2012. On that final day, Paradisa issued new journals, so that the residents could fill them up again. While there are still residents around who have old journals, we have chosen to preserve the old journals here for muns' reference and history.

"Lost" in the title refers to both the old journals that the residents once kept, and also to our move to Dreamwidth from the original Livejournal community, where Paradisa started. It is a fresh start for muns, as well as for the characters.
