This seems ridiculous, because you're gone but that's part of the reason why I'm writing this in the first place. I never got the chance to thank you--for everything. Being honest with me when I got here, and taking care of Dawn at home when... I wasn't around.

There's still so much to take in and settle with. It'll definitely be a lot quieter without you around. I'm left with one less... [ And there's a few scribbles here before finally writing. ] friend. One less friend.

Were you a little disappointed like I was that something a little more... I don't know, undead and spooky stuff didn't happen at Halloween? [ Not that she didn't enjoy the festivities that happened, but... Man, she is craving some good and real action. ]

I wasn't sure if it was a permanent or temporary thing. Last time I saw you was in your room, so I figured you might have given this whole castle thing another shot.

[ Buffy thinks about that for a minute. It does make sense she wouldn't want to be in it, even if it was a giant party, nobody was paying attention to her. ]

Point taken. [ A small pause. She'd probably move out, too, but Buffy is used to having a house full of people. Being in a castle full of people kind of gives her that feeling. ]
