Paris has been pretty fun, so far. Sure, I've gotten lost more times I'd like to admit, eaten way too much food, and wandered into the wrong classroom earlier in the week--twice--but it's nice. A magical castle dressed up for Christmas will get you in the spirit, but the city's always been where my Christmas is at. This is obviously more French than I'm used to, but I'm not complaining. Now I can say I've been to Europe.

[There's a stretch here. Ow, her legs.]

Definitely getting a work out wandering around and taking in the sights, at least.

Right, so... I probably should have made this PSA before Halloween, but this is a friendly reminder to lock your doors, Paradisans. Paradi..sians? Residents? I digress. Deadbolts are probably a good idea, too. It's actually a little unnerving how easy it is for someone to barge in. Then again, they've got some guts to bust into a random room, if that's the game they're playing. You never know who keeps grenades in their desks or can shoot lightning out of their fingers.

In other news: babies. Still cute, still kind of gross, too. Freakish amount of Halloween costumes for itty bitty people.

You know what this place needs? Here, I'll pause for witty responses.

More public restrooms. Maybe I'm just mistaking them for closets or something, but the walk from the city to the castle sucks with a full bladder. Also? It really sucks when you live in one of the towers. Yeah, you know, without an elevator.

About the Archive

"Paradisa Lost" is the archive of what the journals contained between December 1st, 2006 and January 10th, 2012. On that final day, Paradisa issued new journals, so that the residents could fill them up again. While there are still residents around who have old journals, we have chosen to preserve the old journals here for muns' reference and history.

"Lost" in the title refers to both the old journals that the residents once kept, and also to our move to Dreamwidth from the original Livejournal community, where Paradisa started. It is a fresh start for muns, as well as for the characters.
